Feeling sad lost my favorite neighbor

We were very saddened to hear of Marie´s passing.
We really enjoyed the time we spent with her when we delivered her Meals on Wheels. (As she was the last one on our run we had plenty of time for a chat).

She always greeted us with a warm smile and a great sense of humour. We shared many laughs and banter together, and reminiscing about Rahotu days. Those visits were a highlight of our day.

Our condolences to Marie´s family. We will always remember Marie as Grandma from our days camping next to the family at Opunake beach. Also met her many times on the bowling green during our time on the coast. Great memories.

I had the pleasure of looking after Marie at Summerset and gosh she was such a wonderful lady , our quirky banter, laughs , good days and bad she always made me smile. Miss you already Marie RIP My dear . much love xx
