Marie MOIR Obituary
Passed unexpectedly but peacefully on Saturday 15 April 2017 in her 98th year. Dearly loved wife and friend of the late Peter. Much loved mum and mother-in-law of Pat and Paul Ekdahl, Lance and Noeleen, Bruce, Rae (Perth), Pam Goddard (Brisbane), Jill Fearn and Garry, Tony and Natalie. Precious nana of Mike and Meg, Stephen and Petreena, Phillip and Virginia; Ross and Leigh, Debs, Helen and Blair, Jo; Karen, Cathy and Murray, David and Rebecca; Trent; Louisa and Richard, Jessica and Darren, Nathan and Liz, Stephanie; Mike and Lizzie, Kiera and Jamie, Zach and Kalyani, Rory and Kate; Kieran and Lauren. Adored great-nana of Ben T, Laura, Renee, Ben E, Oscar, Alex, Jack, Charlie, Madeleine, Tylah, Aliah, Rico, Liam, Maia, Griffin, Eden, April, William, Elodie, Luke, Breeze and Wynter. Special friend, surrogate mum and nana to many. All family and friends are invited to celebrate Marie's life. A rosary will be held for Marie at St Joseph's Catholic Church, New Plymouth on Wednesday April 19, 2017 at 5.30pm. A requiem mass will be held at Our Lady Star of the Sea Church, Whitcombe Road, Opunake on Thursday April 20, 2017 commencing at 1.30pm. Marie will be at home 248 Junction Road, New Plymouth for viewing until Wednesday afternoon. Special thanks to the coastal palliative care team. Donations may be left at the service or posted to PO Box 5122, New Plymouth 4343, for Hospice Taranaki Inc .

The Opunake Bowling Club wishes to extend their sympathies to the Moir families. Members are requested to attend the funeral of our Patron Marie Moir on Thursday 20 April 2017 at 1.30pm. Club shirts to be worn and a Guard of Honour for Marie will be held at the church.
