I was saddened to learn of Marina's death and sorry to be unable to attend her funeral. I remember her for her cheerful demeanour and her love of music. We also had some interesting conversations as we came from the same part of the world and had attended the same school. My condolences to you all.

Miss Durrans was an amazing and teacher...my favourite during my time at St Mary's. I so looked forward to her colourful geography lessons and travel stories which instilled in me an early desire to see the world.Always remember her gracious demeanour and smiling face and the excitement of seeing her as a bride outside the church where she was married. So lovely. Deepest sympathy to you, her family.

Miss Durham was a favourite teacher of mine at St Mary's. Geography was the subject I enjoyed the most. She spun a great fairy story about the haggis. Always remembered. RIP
