MALONE, Sr Mary Rose
(Kathleen Shirley):
Died peacefully at Auckland City Hospital on 1st May 2023, aged 96. Loved daughter of the late James and Rose Malone, and sister and and sister-in-law of the late Joan and Cliff, Maurice and Sheila, and Lorraine. Aunt of Carol, Marian, Peter, Paul, Patricia, Michael, John and Maria, and loved great-aunt. Much loved member of the Sisters of Our Lady of the Missions for 73 years. Special thanks to the staff of Ivan Ward at Selwyn Village for their care. A Requiem Mass will be celebrated at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 66 Main Highway, Ellerslie, at 11.00am on Friday 5th May. A vigil will take place at 7.00pm on Thursday 4th May at the above church.

So sad to hear of Shirley's (Sr Mary Rose) passing and my apologies for the late condolences to our Malone Family as I have only been made aware of her passing today, 26/2/24. She was kind, gentle and very loving and I have very fond memories of her when she used to come and visit us when we lived in Ellerslie, she will be missed. xxx
