Mary MARFELL Obituary

Mary was a lovely person and will be missed by all. Best friends with our Mum (late) Elyson, they spent their time at Scotlands, NP Girls High School together. The cards on birthdays & Christmas, the messages were kind & special. The phone would go and there would be an extended discussion on what everyone was up to, news and things that were going on. We will miss our dear Aunty Mary.

Love to you Mary you were a great friend to Nita (my Mum) and you were so loving to Oliver and Eve with Christmas presents for them every year that Mum came over. Was special to see you last year and show you updated photos of the family which you loved

Mary was my 1st Ward Sister in the Orthopaedic Ward when I started my Nurse training and although very strict she was always fair and sympathetic when the need arose. In the late 1990's and up to 2005 Mary was a regular customer in my shop in Westown and we shared memories of hospital life in the late 1960s and early 1970s. Mary was also a friend of my Mum + Dad, Bill + Gladys Snowdon so it was a happy connection. RIP Mary until we meet again.

Heartbroken to hear the news yesterday Aunty Mary will be dearly missed. Such a beautiful, generous, caring soul, thank you for being a special part of my life.
