Met you 40 years ago,when you drove a truck for the Railways,..we became good friends until your passing, many a laugh, and good chats along the way,..I valued your principles, and being straight up, Rest in peace,...I will miss you,..

So sad to hear of John's passing. I have great memories of when John was a member of Stratford Runners & Walkers Club. He was a really dedicated runner back then. Thinking of the Hamilton Family at this sad time, Dennis Jordan, Hamilton.

I will miss our chats when you dropped in at the office, your smile and your jokes. I loved our chats about the Lord and how much he meant to you.
To his family , my sympathy, Matua was a good man.

Matua was a great workmate and friend. Matua and I have been together with the Maori Wardens for nearly eleven years. His companionship especially on ANZAC Day will be sorely missed. We spent many days together with our Maori Warden work and as good mates
