Maureen HARDY Obituary
On Tuesday 6th September 2022, Maureen's exhausting battle with Parkinsons came to an end. She is reunited with Norm after 18 years. She spent 83 years sharing her love and values with her family and over 40 years sharing her care and compassion with her patients at Hawera Hospital. Maureen is Mum to Trisha and Mike Careswell, Graham and Charmaine Hardy, Susan and Jonathon (Bully) Webb, James (Jamie) and the late Dallas Hardy, and Trevor and Tracey Hardy. A Granny to her many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and so many more. She will be missed so much.
A service to celebrate Maureen's life will be held in the South Taranaki Funeral Services Chapel on Saturday 10th September, at 1.00pm, followed by private cremation. Thanks to Te Mahana Rest Home for welcoming our family and your care. In lieu of flowers donations toward the fight to beat Parkinsons disease will really honour her memory and can be made at the service. Our beautiful Mum and Gran passed away in typical 'Gran' fashion, to the point and with no fuss. She will leave a huge gap in our lives and hearts but she has taught us how to fill that space with love and beautiful memories.
