Maurice BOWER Obituary

Peacefully at Annie Brydon Life Care, Hawera, after a short illness on 31st July 2025, aged 79 years; one month short of his 80th birthday. Dearly loved husband of the late Tina Bower. Adored father of Gareth and Rose, and Alex and Allie. Treasured Gramps of Lola and George; and Clare, Darcy, and Evelyn. A service for Maurice will be held at Tairoa Lodge, Puawai Street, Hawera, on Tuesday 5th August 2025, commencing at 10.30am.

Our condolences to Maurice's family. We will our wonderful friend very much. We shared a love of nature and spent many weekends and holidays together on walks exploring NZ and overseas. Many wonderful memories. The kowhai tree you gave us, Maurice, is flowering now and enjoyed by a family of tui. Ann-Marie and Eric

Gareth, Rose, Alex and Allie, we were so saddened to hear of Maurices passing. He was much loved by all of our family, a true gentleman who was always interested about the world he lived in. A talented artist with a wonderful sense of humour. We will miss him dearly, our sympathy to you all, Sandra, Denzil, Sienna and Bronte Edmondson
