Dear Cathy,
So sorry to hear Dad has passed. I know he had a soft spot for his girls (you especially, but also Chris). Having cared for my d as, I know what a privilege it is but also how hard this role is. You both did an amazing job of caring for him till the end.
Love to you Cathy, Cordell, Chris & family

He´s resting now, on his terms of course xx

Sorry I can´t be there for you tomorrow, but you will be in my thoughts.

To The Strange family thinking of you all in the loss of your figure head. He's got some hard shoes to fill.
My thoughts are with his fantastic daughters Cathy and Chris. Both of you have been completely devoted to your father during these past few months. Chris you took leave from your teaching job to ensure he received 24 hour care and remained in the home he loved for over 60 years. Cathy you were his rock. I love your saying "I've got your back dad" and you did whenever he needed you. You were there with a smile and words of encouragement not once did you falter. Cycling to his house at 12.00 pm and again at 4.00 am to help Chris with making him comfortable. What a team! You were both so amazing and your dad would have been so grateful and proud for the care and understanding you gave him when his body was failing and he couldn't care for himself as the proud man he was used to being.
My thoughts are with you all. Take care.

We grew up next door: Mr Strange was such a nice man. When we lost Monty he came to celebrate his life and we talked about Tupoki Street. To all of the family we grew up with our love and condolences. It won´t be the same for us without the rooster and the lemon tree - such wonderful and special memories.
