Max GOWER Obituary

GOWER, Max. - 7.3.1946 – 27.9.2014. A loving husband, father, grandad, papa and great-papa, brother, and uncle to all his whanau. "A good bugger".
A celebration of Max's life will be held at the Chapel of W Abraham, 366 Devon Street East, New Plymouth on Thursday 2nd October 2014 at 2.00pm. There-after Max will travel on his final journey where he will be laid to rest at Awanui Cemetery at 3.00pm.

Just heard of Max's passing, and feeling very sad, Max was one of life's "good guys", who have gone too soon. We served together in the Navy in the 60's. Fond memories and good times. Farewell my friend, time to cast off on your last voyage, bid you fair wind and calm seas..
