McLean TELFAR Obituary
Passed peacefully on 13th October 2022, aged 87 years. Loved brother to Kevin and uncle to Aaron. A private ceremony has been held and his ashes interred with his parents at Waitara Cemetery, in accordance with his wishes.

Condolences to Kevin and Aaron on the loss of your brother and uncle, Mac. I met him in June 2021. My grandfather William Telfar was the youngest brother of Mac's grandfather John McLean Telfar. I have been researching my family history. I had hoped to visit him again, this year, so am saddened to have missed that opportunity. My thoughts are with you.

My condolences at the loss of your brother, if this is the same Mac Telfar who was a teacher, he taught me for 2 years at Turuturu School, Hawera, in the early 60s and I remember him as such a lovely man,although he didnt stand any nonsence from anyone.
