Melvyn BROGDEN Obituary

Passed away peacefully, surrounded by his family, on Wednesday, 26th November 2025, aged 91. Dearly loved husband of the late Joy. Treasured Dad to Gary, Diane and Linn Wineera, Carol Wright, and Craig. Adored Poppa Spud to all his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. A service to celebrate Spud's life will be held on Monday, 1st December, at 11am at the Normanby Town Hall. In honour of Spud's many years as a respected gardener and hybridist, you are invited to bring a flower to place on his casket. Messages may be sent to the Brogden Family, 41 Grey Steet, Normanby, or on Spud's tribute page at www.hardingsfunerals.co.nz/tributes There will be a delayed coverage of Spud's service on his tribute page later that evening.
