I was his apprentice many years ago taught me my trade and was the most gentle person and kindness loving soul

My deepest condolence to the family on the passing of Merve. I had a lot to do with Merve during his time as a Justice of the Peace, a role he was well respected in. We would also meet at RSA and Naval Assn events. Rest in Peace my friend you served your country well.

I hadn´t seen you in a long time, Merv, but very much ch remember working on many projects on our house in Waitara when n the 1980´s. RIP. Condolences to your family.

Sending all of my love to you Merle and family, I was saddened to hear of Merves passing. It was always a joy to talk with Mervyn during my visits and I loved the banter and jokes we often shared. I´ll try not to bring the rain on Friday for your final walk Merve. What an incredible character to have had the pleasure of getting to know, even for such a short time.
