Michael BENNETT Obituary

29.6.1948 – 3.12.2025

Loving husband of Tina, the best stepfather of Graeme and David, father-in-law to Gem and Chelle and Pa to Tom, Chloe, Amie and Adam. His big personality has left a void in all our hearts and with memories we will never forget. He has gone to the great rugby ground in the sky.

White, white, white.
We will love you forever.

Sincere Condolences Tina & Families. Lived around the corner on Carrington st, use to pop round to Drake St, when we could see Slice & neighbours playing Cricket. Always a laugh, lots of antics, in his playing days, always a White, White, White Man. RIP Slice

Very sad to hear of Mick's passing. We have many colourful memories of 'Slice" both on and off the rugby field, especially as a member of the legendary Old Boys Wingers club. RIP mate.

Hi Tina and family. Yes he certainly was a personality. He was the first to welcome me to the all whites in 1970 and we became close friends and teammates. A founding member of the "Infamous Wingers club``. My eyes still water when I think of some of his tackles. That "emu" dance will never be forgotten!
So many great memories from the rugby field to wedding days. Both Di and I will sorely miss him. Go well my friend Bryan Davis (Monk)

It was with much sadness that I read of Michael´s (Slice) passing. I have many fond memories of our rugby days together, he was a great team man as well as a fine player. Condolences to Tina and family. R.I.P. Slice.
