Michael Douglas (Mike):
Suddenly at home on Sunday, 28 February 2016. Much loved husband and best friend of Chrissy. Loving Dad of Nicole and stepdad to Jess and Adam. Loved son of Bruce (deceased) and Sandra. Loved and respected brother of Alex and Donna, Susan, and Richard and Sheenagh. Adored Grandad of Brooke and Emily. Gone too soon. A service to celebrate Mike's life will be held at the Taranaki Crematorium Chapel, Junction Road, New Plymouth on Friday, 4 March 2016, at 1pm.

From our Hearts to Yours Chrissy and family from the Bayne family. Both Mike and Johnny loved their Saxophone's. I am sure they will make plenty of music together and have some amazing jam sessions. In this life they are at rest but in fatih we know they have an eternal life in Jesus. We look forward to being reunited with our loved ones, until then, take comfort in these thoughts found in Numbers 6:24 - 26. Out of these tragedies, We know that God will shine His light on you and your Family Chrissy and give you the strength you need to go on living and honouring Mike in your life.

Chrissy I have cried a million tears for you. At last you had found your soulmate. I cannot be there on Friday to support you but will be thinking of you more especially tomorrow, one of the hardest days you will have to cope with.
