Shocked to hear that Mike has passed away , he was only at my workshop in Tikorangi the other week to pick some bike parts up ....he was full of plans for racing and chomping at the bit to return to work with his totally mad enthusiasm he lived life at 110% all the time.
And to mother we never have got to meet, but every time mike would come over he would always mention you and that's love in a nut shell.
Mike's passing leaves a huge hole but a massive Legacy to fill it, I don't know what happens after we leave here but what ever it is l know Mike will doing it at his usual 110% john.

A great friend while at Tikorangi school from 1958 to 1965. Always in the same class. Remember getting to school early in the winter to chop up the fire wood and get the fires going or rearranging the jungle gym equipment. Lots of sport, a bit of school work but always happy days. Great times. Condolences to Kay and family and the O'Carroll families.

To the O'Carroll Whanau.
So sorry to hear of Mikes passing. He was a valued worker and friend in our forestry gang for over 20 years starting out at Te Wera, Mangaokewa and recently Awakino.
You could not get a more obliging or helpful person if you tried. He was a mentor to a great number of young guys, and Sam, with his patience and guidance in the forestry industry.
Ride well Mike you are now at peace.
Remember, when nothing makes any sense, yesterday is gone, tomorrow has not yet come, we have today for pain and grief and although the presence is gone the memories will always be here.
