Our deepest condolences to you Joy, Darren, Gareth and family
I remember well the first time I met Mike. It was at the Hawera Showgrounds (at the bottom of the clay track) He was organising the handicaps for the run in. He looked at me and said "who are you?" I told him and he said "Oh DOMBO now I can talk to you"
That was the beginning of a long friendship and many happy trips and parties with Mike & Joy & club members. He was best man at our wedding, and a man who was well respected - Many happy memories Mike, Rest In Peace, Lee and Liz

So long, Mudlark. I will always remember your supportive comments as I mastered gate vaulting. Yeah, right, My intro to Hawera Harriers was probably the most valuable intro to life in NZ I could have had. If three is a God, he had better be a good runner.
