Belated condolences to Monica´s whanau this Matariki time
We remember how Monica and Graham & whanau made us feel at home in Manaia when we moved there with our two little children in 1975, nearly 50 years ago introducing us to community activities and to eating paua fritters we only had a brief time about two years in the community but have fond memories as Mike was the County Engineer there. Sad today to read of her passing and now one of the twinkling stars with Pohutukawa ..in the sky with much aroha from Jacqui and Mike Shone to all of Monica and Grahams whanau

I have some amazing memories of her,she was one amazing lady.

Thinking of you all at this time, heaven will be blessed with her presence. Memories of Normanby Road, working with her at The Hawera IHC. My most treasured memories was visiting Mum in the Dementia unit, and the lovely conversations and observing Monica look after Mrs Ross and Mum.
