Sadly I say goodbye to a good mate, Murray. A top bloke through and through, he faced his illness with quiet strength and never lost that hardcase spirit we all knew and respected. Whether it was at work or just havinga yak, Murray had a way of brightening my day, often had me cracking up by the time he got to the job he intended to do.
He´ll be remembered not just for the job he did, but for the man he was, a smart dude, honest and dependable. The kind of bloke you were proud to call a mate.
Rest easy, Murray. You´ll be missed, but never forgotten.

Murray you're a good cousin and a great work mate to me in the days of Casein at Fonterra,
Always coming over for a coffee and a chat before starting work on the separators.
I know you've had a long time suffering but now you deserve your rest.

Murray Shaw, Legend.
With that big cheesy grin, those raggedy old shorts and boot laces undone.
I am going to miss you old mate.
A little alternative, artistic, caring, sharing and loyal.
You lived a life true to yourself.
A good South Taranaki boy through and though.
See you for a cuppa on the other side someday mate.
Rest in peace now.
Nigel T.
