Most dearly loved Mother of Raewyn and Brian Marcroft (Ngahinepouri), the late Rodney, Kathy and Roy Lee (Australia). Grandmother of the late Kent, Helena, Fraser and Lisa, Cameron and Xenia Marcroft, the late Tracey, Rodney and Rowan Dodd. Great-Grandmother (Nana Mo) of Cate, Sam, Koby, Tasmyn, Madeleine and Rupert Marcroft, Harmony, Ayla, Oliver and Flynn Dodd. Enthusiast of cooking, card playing, sewing, knitting, fixing the world's problems and life.
Lucid and feisty to the end.
As per Narlene's wishes she has been cremated and a gathering with a celebration of her life will be held at Raewyn and Brian's home, Reid Road, Ngahinepouri on her birthday, the 6th of January, from 2pm.

Narlene was my great grandmother, nothing was as good as going to visit her in her cute little cottage. She made fresh cookies for my sister and i every time we went to visit. We will forever miss her and i think of her everyday.

To the family of Nana Mohekey.On my way to AKLD I picked up a Paper in Te Awamutu and noted the passing of our dear Nana Mohekey. My name is Judy Abraham or Chicky Abraham of Waitara.Lots of happy memories came flooding in of this beautiful Nana. I was custodian of the Waitara Swimmimg Pool .Diane Climo Eileen Cooper the McFarlene Families Joan and Gerald Moller, Jan Cullen Waitara Swimmimg Club was a real family affair Jim Mohekey and Peter Climo were great helpers. and Colleen Bird.
Thank you Nana Mohekey for all laughter, happiness, friendship and love. The love we shared of our little Tracey at the time. Kathy and Rodney I remember at the pool,I have only just come back to Waitara after living in Whanganui for 30 years, Always thought about Nana Mohekey and the family. Would love to have been there today to celebrate this special day with your family. Thank you for those precious memories.I can still see us laughing and we were always happy.To think I quiet often took the back road and you were living in the area.Love your photo.Feeling your sad lost but Nana Mohekey will be happy with her Fun smile.
