Nola LOWRY Obituary

Passed peacefully at Taranaki Base Hospital on Sunday 12th October 2025, aged 81 years. Loved mother and mother-in-law of Tracey and Paddy Walsh, Michael and Marie, and Ross and Bridget. Much loved Nana to all her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. All messages may be sent to 'The Lowry Family', c/- PO Box 4016, New Plymouth 4340, or left online at wabraham.co.nz/notices In lieu of flowers, donations to NZ Kidney Foundation would be appreciated and may be left at the service. Nola will lie at home all day from 10.00am Thursday 16th October 2025. Family and friends are invited to visit and pay their respects. A service for Nola will be held at The Chapel of W. Abraham, 366 Devon Street East, New Plymouth on Friday 17th October 2025 at 2.00pm, followed by a private cremation.

Tracey & Paddy, Michael & Marie, Ross & Bridget, this was unexpected! You were a great team taking care of Nola over the last few years, she will leave a large gap in your lives. To the grandchildren, Nola adored you all, and the great grandchildren you were the absolute sunshine in her life, she just loved all the photos and phone calls, I know you will all have some lovely memories. To Nolas family. I am so sad to learn of Nola passing away. You will all miss her very much. I visited Nola up to twice a week for many years delivering her medications and enjoyed her bright positive attitude even when in considerable discomfort. A great fighter to the end.
