Norah O'SULLIVAN Obituary

Died in Hamilton surrounded by love on the 20th May 2024 aged 97. Dearly loved wife of the late John Desmond (Jack) O'Sullivan. Treasured mother of Margaret and the late John Roylance, Mary-Ellen and Graeme Bezzant, Maggie Christian, and the late John O'Sullivan. Adored grandmother of Marie and Peter, Steve and Amanda, Jeff and Richelle, Dana and Dave, Brett and Theresa, Eddie and Hanna, Mike and Marielle, Joshua and Lauren, and Sam. Precious great-grandmother of Kate, Chris, Lisa, Rachel, Bayley, Sasha, Jordan, Dillon, Chloe, Jack, Jayden, Shanya, Mahinarangi, Will, Charlie, Tom, Harper, and Koa. Great-great-grandmother of Sarah, Blake, Grace, and William. Special Nana Norah to Daryl and Jamie Tai Mila Ari and Indie, Cameron Stacey Ezra Kyla and Zara and so many others. Loved aunty to all her nieces and nephews. Donations to support the work of St Vincent de Paul would be appreciated and can be made on line to TSB a/c 15 3942 0689 853 00. Requiem Mass to celebrate Norah's life will be held at St Joseph's Catholic Church, Powderham Street, New Plymouth, on Monday 27 May at 11am, followed by burial at Awanui Cemetery. Rosary will be prayed on Sunday afternoon at 4pm at St Philomena's Hall, Brooklands Road, New Plymouth.

Here living in Blennerville, the next parish to Farmers Bridge, Ballymacelligott, Tralee, Co Kerry, Ireland where my grandmother lived. She was the late Nora's aunt.

My parents were friends with Norah and Jack when we lived on Broadmore Street and I was about 4. I remember Norah and thought of her as an Aunty. My condolences to the family and thank you for evoking some lovely memories at this sad time.
