Oliver ROBERTS Obituary

Peacefully at Jean Sandel Rest Home and Retirement Village, aged 85 years. Beloved husband of the late Margaret (Dena), and the late Erena. Father and father-in-law of John and Rachel Roberts, and Sarah and Chris Mitchell. Grandad to AJ (Alexander), and Obbie (Oliver) Roberts. Struan, and William Mitchell. An active member and leader at Holy Trinity Anglican Church, Fitzroy. Will be sadly missed and fondly remembered by all those who knew him. In lieu of flowers please consider a donation to Hospice Taranaki A celebration of Oliver's life will be held at Eagars Te Henui Chapel, 46 Watson Street, New Plymouth, on Friday December 1, 2023 at 10.30am. Followed by a private committal.

A soldier for JESUS CHRIST is now in heaven. A talented rugby and cricket player, a good shearer and farmer as well as preaching in various churches (free of charge). Also a habitat for humanity volunteer. A life well lived.

Dear family of Oliver, I would like to extend my sincere condolences on your sad loss. Oliver was a true Christian and was a great comfort to my husband and myself both as a Minister and a friend as my husband suffered from cancer and later passed away. A tremendous man of faith and he is finally at rest and peace with his Lord. God bless you.
