Suddenly on 2 October 2024, 92 years young. Loved father of Anita Divers, Carolyn Middleton and Kenneth Sutton. Father-in-law of Garth Middleton and the late John Divers and Carolyn Bielby. Grandfather of Lauren, Sam, Cameron, Joshua, Ella and Jacob. Ex-husband of Mary Douglas. A Memorial service for Owen will be held at W. Abraham Funeral Home, 366 Devon Street East, New Plymouth, on Saturday 26 October 2024 at 2pm.

Almost 93 years young and, until recently, still with the energy and determination of one half his age! Thank you Owen, on behalf of all of us who have benefited from your completely selfless giving of endless time and support with so many projects. Your green thumb in the garden has supplied food for countless friends and campers over the years. A life well lived indeed! Now enjoying a well earned rest with the Lord he loved.
