Died 11th May 2024 at Maida Vale Retirement Village, Taranaki. Husband of Anne, father of Rachel, and grandfather of Ben. Retired Emeritus Professor of Law at Auckland University. Messages to 'The Webb Family' c/- PO Box 4016, New Plymouth 4340. A service for Dick will be held in The Chapel of W. Abraham, 366 Devon St East, New Plymouth, on Friday, 17th May 2024 at 2.00pm.

I have known Dick as a colleague and a friend for just over 50 years. Fortunately I was able to see him and Anne last January. He was a lovely person, a wonderfully supportive colleague and an excellent lawyer and teacher. It is very sad that he has gone, though not unexpected. My deepest sympathy goes to Anne, Rachel and their family.
