My dear Steffert whanau,
I am so saddened by the news of our dear Paddy. Paddy will be sorely missed by everyone whose life she touched. Paddy was an amazing person and a big part of the Amoamo whanau lives, awesome memories growing up in Reporoa, Alamein Road. I remember and love Paddy for her honesty and not mixing her words, but also her humour, her laugh and her smile. Paddy was definitely one of the few genuine people left in this world. I remember Paddy and Judy Hyland were at the hospital with Mumbo, myself and Mihi
, and Paddy said to Mihi and myself, well Judy I think the girls will be joining our club. Hmm ..
The Orphans club, if this came from anyone else I would have been a-bit angry, but we all laughed I am absolutely gutted I can not be there for Ducky´s tangi, but due to having covid, it is what it is, I have so many memories that I will cherish forever.
But now she is at rest with her wonderful BJ.
