One year ago today, you passed from this world after a brave fight with cancer, surrounded by love. Your spirit lives on around us.
We feel you in the wind, the land, and the quiet moments. You are now at the Maimai, resting under the blue tōtara tree, reunited with Michael, watching over us all. Pink was your favourite colour, and flamingos always made you smile. We see them now and think of you. You were loved deeply and respected by the whole community. Your kindness, strength, and open heart touched so many lives. Not a day goes by where you are not missed. Your love still guides us.
