Sincere condolences to all the family, may Pat rest in peace. All of us have fond memories of Pat, how he was always helpful and willing to go the extra mile to get my boys home safely on the many nights out on the town and his obvious pride and love for Lorna and all of the whanua.

Sending our deepest sympathy and condolences to Pats whanau at this sad time.We played basketball together way back in 1955 to 1957 for Hawera in its heyday and the team had a special name for Pat that was "Poaka". It is many years since we last met in Hawera Pat on a street corner so RIP "Poaka"
