Margaret and family, we were so sad to get the news of Pat´s passing. Sorry that we can´t be there tomorrow as you say goodbye to a remarkable person but will be watching with a heavy heart. As a member of the lunchtime joggers we go back a long way and there´s so many funny moments that come to mind. Pat´s wicked dry sense of humour was always something special as well as his amazing generosity to so many people. A truly remarkable man and an absolute legend.

On behalf of the New Plymouth Horticultural Society we send our sincere condolences to our member Margaret in the sudden loss of Pat.

Farewell to a good bloke, not many left like Paddy. He was a great neighbour,it was a real priviledge to have known him.
