Amazing teacher of mine in high school. Good man.

Rest in love Mr Jessa, not many teachers could span the generations and be memorable throughout. I remember reading and hearing stories from my Uncles and Aunties when they attended WHS, I didn't expect to have the same man teach me during my time, but what a privilege. Ka aroha Jessa whanau.

Mr Jessa, such a humble and loving individual, with a passion to teach the subject he committed his life's teaching journey to. I met him at Waitara High School, back then he stood strong, embraced the youth and all their diversity. He was good at what he did. Checked in with students, heart of gold and humble. May you rest now Mr Jessa and God be with your family. Sending prayers and love.

My condolences to the family. Peama was my respected colleague at Waitara High School.

The Spotswood College Alumni Trust extends its sincere condolences to the extended Jessa family on the recent passing of Peama. Peama was a teacher of Mathematics and Science at Spotswood College from 1970-1975. RIP Peama.

Lovely guy and very stoic in the wrangling of us [then] 4th formers in the hope we would see the light and actually learn some Maths.

Mr Jessa was a lovely man. Was my science teacher, and I caught up with him after my schooling at the library. Will be missed
