To a truly amazing woman Peta. We only worked together for a very short time, but during that time we became very good friends that continued with phone calls and emails due to distance. I will miss your fire cracker humour and your love of a good glass of wine. It is an absolute shock to hear of your passing and to her family that were never too far from her thoughts during our talks, please accept my deepest sympathy. Peta you will be sadly missed my friend. Love Rebecca x

So sad to hear the awful news. My thoughts are with all of her family. We've lost a real character and a good friend. I trained with Peta and kept in touch intermittently over the years. So glad that we had a class reunion in January. RIP Peta.

*You will lose someone you can't live without, and your heart will be badly broken, and the bad news is that you never completely get over the loss of your beloved. But this is also the good news. They live forever in your broken heart that doesn't seal back up. And you come through. It's like having a broken leg that never heals perfectly—that still hurts when the weather gets cold, but you learn to dance with the limp. ~Anne Lamott
