Peter William (Pete):
Passed peacefully and quickly at Taranaki Base Hospital on Monday 17 April 2023, aged 93 years. Dearly loved husband of Gay (deceased) and Isabel. Loved Dad and father-in-law of Sue Jones and Brett, and Karen. Grandfather of Cameron and Narelle. Loved step-father of Peter and Raewyn, Colin and Yvonne, Cheryl and Graham, Roger and Judy, and Janene. Oh so sad to hear of Peter's passing. I remember visiting when I was very young and enjoyed riding your horse Rajah. Going to the milking shed etc. I've been going through the family photos and have started doing a family tree and have a picture of Peter, Gay and and others from 1981. So sad that I've started late so haven't been able to meet up again.

Our sympathy to you all .Peter was a great neighbor for many Years, with many a conversations across the back drain. He loved his indoor bowls in the Tataraimaka hall. Those were the good old days.

We will treasure our memories of a lovely man who was always pleased to share his time with us. Uncle Pete, whether it was sharing an outing to Butterfly Creek with the kids (note the Butterfly on his head), celebrating a special milestone or just having a video chat - you were and will remain very special to our family.
