Loving partner of Deborah for 36 years and father to Tyson, Eden and Taylor-Faith. Survived by his twin sister Penny and predeceased by his brother Murray. Father-in-law to Zara, brother-in-law to Pam, Roger, Bill, John and Lee. Grandfather, great-grandfather, uncle, great-uncle and friend to many. Pete played his last championship match like the star he was, after a brief battle with the big C. Deborah held his hand to the very last minute so he was never alone. A massive thanks goes out to those at Hospice Taranaki, who provided incredible care and support during a very difficult time. In lieu of flowers, please donate to them - there will also be a donation tin at the service. Thank you to those who visited and reached out, Pete felt the love from you all. Most important to him was that everyone gather together for his service to celebrate a well lived life. A private cremation has been held, his memorial service will take place at Sandfords Event Centre, 156 Tasman Street, Opunake, on Saturday 22 January 2022, at 1.00pm. A Vaccine Pass is required to attend.
