Peter MUNRO Obituary

Passed peacefully, surrounded by family, on Friday 17 October 2025, aged 71 years. Dearly loved husband of Stephanie. Loved Dad of Ryan and Samantha, Matthew and Sinead, and Jesslyn. Adored Grandy of Carter, Cassidy; Sage, and Beauden Peter. A service for Peter will be held at Our Lady Star of the Sea Catholic Church, 33 Whitcombe Road, Opunake, on Tuesday 21 October 2025 at 11.00am, followed by interment at Opunake Cemetery at 1.30pm.

I lovely man and cousin. Will be forever be remembered as our older cousin coming to stay on the farm, helping dad out. A fabulous dad who loved spending time with his kids. A great fisherman. Will miss catching up in Opunake with a few yarns, BBQ & beer.
Missed by his cousins the PE Mulligan's from Inglewood.

Passed away peacefully at Taranaki Base Hospital on Friday the 17th October 2025.
Beloved eldest son of Ray and Joan Munro. Brother of Charmaine, Stephen, Mark (deceased), Joanne and partner Andy, and John. Uncle to his nieces and nephews. Peter will be deeply missed by his family and friends.

Peter was taken from us too soon.
