So very sad to hear that our 'Tante Nellie' has passed. Childhood friend of our mother from their small village in the south of Holland. She was the only person my parents knew in New Zealand when they emigrated in the 1950s and hence why they were placed in New Plymouth. Affectionately known as Oom Harry and Tante Nellie, always viewed as favourite aunt and uncle rather than just family friends. Our deepest condolences to all the family on the passing of such a special and lovely lady.

Much sympathy to you with the passing of Nellie, especially Anton and Betty. It was lovely to visit with Nellie a wee while ago and remember when my grandparents lived in the same house. She was very welcoming and we spent time talking about past days in Egmont Village.

This morning I saw in the Legacy summary of the Taranaki Daily News the death notice for Petronella Naus.
To all the Naus family and especially Anton and Martin whom I recall from far off days at FDMC I extend my sincere sympathy on her passing.
With her death, the final curtain comes down on so much of your own lives, leaving I trust many happy Egmont Villlage memories of years that have passed so quickly. May she be given a wonderful farewell from the church of the Sacred Heart in Inglewood.
And may the Good Lord welcome her home now with outstretched arms, and with your father Harry may she be forever at peace.
