Phyllis DARRAH Obituary

Phyllis passed away at Taranaki Base Hospital on Thursday 21 March 2024, aged 91 years. Loving and devoted wife of the late Brian. Loved and cherished Mum to Neil, Glenn, Kyn, and Sharon. A wonderful Nana to Ryan, Jordan; Caitlin, Ben; Joshua, Samuel, Gabriella, and Arielle, and Great-Nana to Willow, Alexis, Lincoln, Peter, and Freya.

Initially knew 'Mrs Darrah' as the mother of my brother's friend Kyn, and when she came to my mum's League of Mothers meetings and we would peer out our bedroom window to see who was arriving. Reconnected with Phyll and Brian later in life. To me she was an amazing mixture of humility, strength of character and unwavering generosity of spirit. A real gem. Sorry for your loss brothers Darrah.
