I am so sorry to hear of Ralph's passing.
I appreciated working with Ralph to create Landonline e-survey datasets.
I value his generosity and his gift to me remains. The gift of knowledge.
My condolences to you and your family Ruth. He spoke so highly of you all, you must be feeling the loss of your avid supporter.

Dear Ruth and family, condolences to you all. I had the pleasure of working with Ralph at LINZ on the Landonline project. We had a great survey project team working hard for the survey profession. We also had many laughs and great times. I've valued Ralphs extensive knowledge he imparted on me. It has been my honour to know and work with Ralph. He will be missed but remembered.

Sincere sympathies Ruth, Ralph was a true gentleman and a scholar. In earlier days Ralph lived behind my family at Midhirst but we first met catching the bus from Cowling Rd when I started work at Lands and Survey. Since then I have had the pleasure of working closely with Ralph, instructing on new work including that noisy weekend he spent with his chainman Ruth on Kapiti Island. My desk has photos of a cat sprawled across a keyboard and we looked forward to the calendar each year, photos taken by Ralph of course. Rest in peace my friend, you will be missed.

I am sorry to hear of Ralphs passing and would like to wish all the best to all his family Its good to remember growing up as cousins we all knew each other and i think I have a photo of my mums(Lois Reader) with Ralphs family all in as young kids xx

I was very sorry to read the news about Ralph. It is many years since our families had baches at Onaero. Ralph's family's bach was next to ours. As children we had great fun fishing, swimming etc whatever the time of year. Life was a lot freer then. Lots of fond memories of those times. Glynn and I extend our sympathy to you all at this sad time.
