Raymond John (Ray):
Regt No. NZ14039 L/TEL, 24th S/Boy (Grasshopper) RNZN - of Levin. Peacefully on Saturday 27th June 2020, aged 83 years, at Star 4 Levin. Dearly loved partner of Joy. Much loved father of Raewyn, Sharon, Jennifer and their families. A service for Ray will be held at Harvey's Chapel, 284 Oxford Street, Levin, on Saturday 18th July, at 11.00am, followed by private cremation.

Uncle Ray your were an awesome Uncle & Godfather. You fought hard to stay with us till the girls arrived but with Covid that was not to be. You were a friend to many and very much loved by all who knew you and you will be dearly missed, it was a pleasure to be with you till your name was called. RIP Uncle Ray xxooxx p.s I hope Dad and Aaron had a Rum poured when you arrived.❤❤

Always and forever you were my dearly loved Uncle Ray, and in my childhood you were my sparring partner. I will never feel the same hearing, " You bloody little hound." I think those words were designed to be from you to me. Loved always and forever. RIP Uncle Ray.
