To Linda, David, Kyle, Shannan and family
I have just been made aware of Ray´s passing and extend my condolences to you all. I knew him through NPOB rugby and you would not find a more passionate and loyal supporter- his contribution has been immense and he will be remembered with great fondness by the rugby fraternity.
He made a positive difference in the lives of so many.
Rest easy Sleepy.

To Linda, David, Kyle, Shannan and families, I am not in NZ at present however have just been made aware of the sad passing of Ray. Your husband, father and grandfather was as you know a top bloke. I know him and will remember him extremely fondly ... Sleepy took me under his enormous wing when I was a youngest playing rugby for Bell Block, his words of encouragement and direction were invaluable. Sleepy's humour over a pint or two .... legendary. In latter years we reacquainted and it was just like old days. Ray I will miss you RIP my friend.
