Oh my dear Chris, what a shock I got yesterday when checking the notices online from Gold Coast, to learn that you have lost Rex. In our special catchup two months ago, I was aware of his health issues but was hopeful for his recovery.
My heartfelt sympathy & love goes to you & your beautiful family at this sad time.
I am sorry I can't join you to farewell Rex, I was hoping it would be live streamed' as many are these days? Our friendship has been over many years, with special memories & you are so much in my thoughts & prayers. Such a lovely photo of him on Eagars site?

Rex was a past President and Life Member of the Stratford Mountain Club.
His contribution over many years was during a time change and development.

His trusty Landrover was a blessing after snowfalls getting supplies to the Lodge and canteen and back loading the rubbish.

A true gentleman who will be missed.
The Clubs thoughts are with you all.

Stratford Mountain Club Members.
