Rita SCOTT Obituary

Peacefully at Tainui Rest Home on Thursday 5 October 2023, aged 92. Dearly loved wife of the late Allan, the late Wally, and long-time companion of Ernie. Cherished mother and mother-in-law of Lorna and Gary Hildred, Murray and Marie Hartley, Diane and Geoff Holtom, and Wendy and Gus Old, Loved Nana of all her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Messages for Rita's family may be left on her tribute page at eagars.co.nz/rita. A service to celebrate Rita's life will be held at Eagars Te Henui Chapel, 174 Lemon Street, New Plymouth, on Wednesday 11 October 2023, at 10.30am. A private cremation will be held. In preference to flowers, please consider a donation to New Plymouth SPCA. For those unable to attend, Rita's funeral will be livestreamed via her tribute page.

How many chats we have had dear Rita over more recent years both in your home on Wallace/ Tukapa and latterly at Tainui. We met initially on Standish Street when you and Ern were out walking.
