Riyoko TREVILLION Obituary

17.6.1934 - 9.7.2023 It is with much heaviness in our hearts that our precious Mum has gained her wings to heaven at the age of 89. Devoted and forever loving wife of the late Edward Thomas Trevillion. Cherished Mum to Mark and Sandra (England), Linda (Australia) and Grant. Much loved Nana T to Troy and Loz, Nathan and Marcel. Adored Great-Nana T to Zahn and Tully, Sienna and Alfie. A truly remarkable lady who will be greatly missed by us all. We take great comfort to know our Mum will be reunited with our Dad after all these years have passed. Mum passed away peacefully at the New Plymouth Summerset Retirement Village Care Centre. We sincerely thank you for taking such wonderful care of our Mum, and for your respectfulness and kindness shown to her over the years and for making her feel so much at 'home'. Forever appreciated. In accordance with Riyoko's wishes a private cremation has been held.

It was a privilege and great pleasure to have stayed with Ri while visiting NZ and also visit The Tabor Unit. Some of the children came with her to see me off at the airport. That was special. A remarkable, fun- loving and warm lady who was able to stay with me in England and then I took her to the airport! My sincerest sympathies to her much loved and loving family, Jennie Pettit.

Very sad to learn of Riyokos passing. Have very fond memories of Riyoko & husband taking care of me as a teenager when I left home the first time.
Also I would babysit their kids sometimes as they lived next door to us in Marfell.

Thinking of you all at this sad time. Fond memories of working with Mrs T at maternity, where she and mum Betty were great friends.

I have fond memories of Mrs T from when I worked in maternity in the early 1970s. She was meticulous in all that she did, and had a very dry sense of humor.
