Robert..... 28years you have been making many,...many amazing windows for me . You did my head in over some of them . It's been an amazing journey of the highs and lows of our lives. I was blessed to have seen you one last time at peace in your home. It's been amazing to meet your family ,albeit ,through a sad time .... It's your turn to look down over your mountain . Been great to have you as a true friend that genuinely cared....

I knew Rob for 35 years, he knew me better than myself, he was there for the darkest days of my life, and was a true friend.

Very sorry to hear Robert passed away. We first met over a stained glass design for our back door. 8 small panels and 1 large center panel. Every few weeks you would call me into view your progress and I would arrive to find you weren't happy with your work and had destroyed it.We laughed about that for years. Your love and talent with glass was a joy to behold. Over the years you designed 5 stained glass windows, all in keeping with the age of the house.Each time scaffolding was erected you'd get a call.Over the years, 17 stained glass windows were removed, repaired and replaced. Our family and our old home will be eternally greatful. RIP Robert. Peter and Jocelyn Rich and family

Very sorry to have heard of the passing of Robert, also sorry that I didn't get to have a recent visit with him.
He was a very talented man and a colourful good all round genuine bloke, a pleasure to have known.

From the Beach to Powderham St to Carrington St to Burgress Park Hill to Midhurst, you were always fabulous. In any creative circumstance from carved wooden chairs, art, to lead light masterpieces your work was gifted. I loved your insight and despiction of elements of the creation. Thanks for the lively discussions and the fun times. Take care see you in the next life. To his children ( and ex wife) you were in his heart everyday and sometimes he wished he'd done things different.

So sad to read of Robert's passing. Robert designed a fabulous stain glass window, that sits above our front door. He captured the story of Marianne and my life.It is a brilliant work of art, that we love showing to visitors. Rest in peace Robert.

We had great pleasure getting to know Robert during the months he created our master piece stained glass window for us. He was a very interesting man we had a lot of fun with him. What he created for us is exquisite, he was a truly talented man. Condolences to his family, he will be missed by many.

Sorry to hear this news. Robert was a wonderful and unique character. Visits to him to fix his computer were always an adventure. He will be dearly missed.

Ahh..... Robert, will never forget you coming in Natural Harvest for a feed and a chat. I still have my beautiful stained glass on my window sill. Your family say you were a complex man, very apt, but that made you interesting to talk to and kept us on our toes. RIP Robert.
