Hi Wayne and Irene, so pleased to find this posting and sorry to hear of Uncle Rob's passing. I still remember visiting you all at the farm when we lived in Stratford, still have the originals of photos I took at your wedding Irene. Lots of good memories!! Best wishes to you both, Leonard

When we first arrived in the district Rob was a man moving stock on a white horse and he remained a gentleman on a white horse all the time we knew him.
Always kind and helpful.
Condolences to the Curry family.

Rob was the quintessential Good Guy. Worked hard, suffered pain anonymously and full of good will. I had the good fortune to be with him on an Alpine horse trek in 2003 and he loved every minute. In spite of holding the record for the oldest person to undertake the adventure he was always first up each morning, loading the pack horses withe relish and enthusiasm. His signature! A wonderful man. What a privilege to know him. My condolences to his family whom he loved very much.

Hello Irene and Wayne, I was sorry to read the passing of your dad. I remember you and your family well from Manaia days. What a great age and I always remember him as a very hard working man. You took great care of the boys Irene.

Rob a man of honesty and hard working ethics. It was a pleasure to know him and learn from him. Rest in peace Rob you sure earned it. Strathmore was a good place to live when you were there. May the sheep run and the cows move as one. Regards Steve B

Saddened to read of Rob´s death- but a long life. Fond memories of him at San Rosa - always the gentleman.
Kind regards to Irene, Wayne and his grandchildren who I know will miss him.

To the Curry Family, The Stratford Tramping send their sympathy and thoughts to the Curry Family. He loved his tramping and held alot of knowledge and was always willing to help when transport and car shuttles were required. You may rest now and no more hills to climb.
