To the Gosling family, I had the pleasure of working alongside of Robert (0r Bob) as we all knew him in the 1960's at Waipari Joinery in Eltham.
He was a great Mentor and always went beyond expectations.
Rest in peace Bob after a wonderful innings.

To my Great Poppa,

I am thankful for the wonderful memories we made over the many years of school holidays spent on the farm with you and Great Nan. I will never forget the time you took to spend with me in my younger years (pre-2004). This gave me so many memories, from moving/feeding the calves, Poppa's tractor was always a favourite and I can't forget Poppa's Circus with all of the machinery in tow.

Without the generations before me I wouldn't be here. Most importantly I need to thank you Poppa for giving the best gift of all, My Nana (Elizabeth), my best friend. I will cherish the memories of us fondly, say hi to Dad for me :-)

Much love, Alesha

(Great Granddaughter)

To my Great Poppa,

I am thankful for the wonderful memories we made during the many years of school holidays, spent on the farm with you and Great Nan. I will never forget the time you took to spend with me in my younger years (pre 2004). From sitting on Poppa's knee in the arm chair, butter on the table at all times, early morning calf feeding and keeping track of the weather daily, I am so thankful to have the best gift of life give from you, my Nana (Elizabeth).

Thank you for the memories Poppa + the soda biscuits,

Thinking of you all at this difficult time. Irene I was in awe of your incredible work ethic and constant love and support you gave Bob. The many hours you tended to Bob´s needs over your own. Your incredible strength to take each day as it came while still doing your accounting work was to be admired. Bob thank you for allowing me into your home to be apart of your morning and evening cares. I learnt valuable life long skills.

Memories of those years now past come back as we remember Bob. Sunday meetings at the hall across the street where folk would gather outside and talk for what seemed ages after the service had finished- Bob around town- our resident builder man- Elizabeth in my school class- Irene caring for him in these later years- how we lose touch then magically, it is as close as yesterday. My condolences to you all at this time.
