So sorry to hear of Bob's passing. In 2016 we recorded some of his stories for a show on Access Radio Taranaki. These are still available should anyone like to listen to Bob's adventures, told in his own voice.

My Uncle Bob's visits to our family home was always full of happyness. He adored his late sister Carol, (my mum), they were very close. My parents shared part of their lives together with Uncle Bob, whilst all living and working in Fiji. Uncle Bob was was such a friendly, kind, caring, generous and bubbly person.
You lived a great long life, RIP Uncle Bob.
Love Rob Mosen, Gervaise & family.

My condolences to Robert's family. I met him several times over the years on ANZAC Day and liked him very much. I have attached a picture of him and my Dad, Major Harry Russell MC, who was always pleased to see him as they shared the experience of fighting in the Korean War - the forgotten war, but one where New Zealand soldiers made ALL the difference at the three Battles of the Hook. Brave men. RIP.

My sympathy to Bob's family at this sad time. A life well lived and a great age he has reached.
I had the pleasure of meeting Bob in recent years and sharing info with him on the Korean War that he and my late father served in. I greatly appreciate the time we spent having a chat as this helped me gain some more insight into my Dad's time in the Korean War.
Thoughts and prayers are with you all.
I salute you Bob.
