Robert MUNDT Obituary
Service No. 594700 LAA21BTY 13th intake CMT 1954. Died suddenly at home in his 79th year. Dearly loved husband of Fanny and the late Aida. Loved father and father in law of Katherine and Parry, Karl and Ellie and Justin and Nicola. Stepdad of Ngaire and John, Yvonne and Michael and David and Sheryl. Adored granddad of Matt and Jana, Joshua, Nicole, Ryan (deceased), Jordan, Daniel, Travis, Nolan, Alex and Hannah. Great granddad of Rome and Shayla.
Friends and family are invited to attend a Requiem Mass which will be celebrated at St Joseph's Catholic Church, New Plymouth on September 13, commencing 9.45am. Bob's burial will take place at Opunake Cemetery at approximately 1.00 pm. In lieu of flowers, a donation to the Heart Foundation would be greatly appreciated and may be left at the service.

Bob was our best man over 55 years go and a friend we have always kept in touch with.I batched with him and another couple of mates working in taungatara.sadness for all of us left behind but he lived the good life and he did it his way.condolences to all those close to him.

Dear Mundt Family, I was very sad to hear that Bob had passed away. He was a great Godfather to me. I will remember him for his friendly nature and positive outlook on life. Bob did an amazing job with the gardens at St Joseph too. As I am living in England, I will be unable to attend the funeral. May he rest in peace. You are all in my prayers and thoughts. Loved son of Eileen (Horgan) and Percy Mundt (both deceased). Brother and brother in law of Maurice and Lorna (both deceased). Doreen and Allan Jennings (Wanganui), Bryan and Carole (New Plymouth). Stepbrother of Mike and Maree Horgan (Winton), Pat and Lynn Horgan (Palmerston North). Uncle and great uncle of his nephews and nieces. Sadly missed.
