I really miss you Dad. Im trying to look after mum but i cant heal her broken heart. She misses you so much. If an afterlife exists, i know she will be overjoyed when she rejoins you. You were my role-model and hero Dad. Life is hard. You made living copable in the times that hurt. The world has changed and in kinda glad you didnt have to experience society as it is now. looking forward to reuniting as a family mate. All my love and heartache Dad. G.

Having heard Jamie Allen refer to you as "squire" I was happy to know that someone else knew the favorite title we all knew him by back in the Vogeltown cricket days. Heart felt sympathies to you Fay. A mighty tree has fallen.

Thinking of you all, keep the happy memories fresh in your mind, they will help you through the sad days.

A much respected member of the Tainui Home Trust Board for over 11 years. His dedication and belief in Tainui Village and what it stands for was evident in the service he gave and the tremendous effort he put into attending meetings even when it was physically challenging for him to do so.
