To the Walden family,so sorry to hear of Rob's passing.I have many fond memories of him as my neighbour in Kahui Rd.He was just a lad at high school and quite clever at getting his timing right so that he would turn up to help milk their family cows when there was only a couple of rows left.
Every time I hear the song "She Wears My Ring" I immediately think of Rob. R.I.P.

Uncle (Koro, Dr Ropata, Talofa on the Sofa and the other half of Ebony and Ivory)

You were a big man with a big heart and personality. Such a big part of our whanau since Day 1. Always a cheeky grin, a smart reply, a funny as joke and a rark up of many.
We will remember the handbrakes on the concrete after revving the mini up to get up our drive..we swore it left the ground. The missing flowers from Mum's garden when it was your anniversary, the missing veges too and Mum's comment "bloody Walden"!! Trying to be funny with Mum by saying "whatever" when she asked you what you wanted to drink ...and you got the lot in one coffee cup!!!
Breaking our butts on the back of the farm bike by finding as many deep ruts on the cattle tracks in Manaia! Fending off Daphne and her stuck when you visited.
The whanau Ute...disappeared for days and magically appeared and leaving Mum (just recently) the car with a birds nest under the bonnet!!

We will miss you, our hearts are broken along with Bev and the Walden whanau!
Fly high, keep them in line and we are sure you will be watching over us!!
