Robert Stanley (Bob):
Passed away peacefully surrounded by his loved ones at Trinity Home and Hospital Hawera on Monday 9th January 2023, aged 85 years. Dearly loved husband of the late Helma. Loved and treasured father and father-in-law of Therese, and Roberta & Alan Murray. Loving Grandad to Mark & Kelly, Rachel & Mncedisi; Nicole & Richard, and Stephanie & Ben. Great Grandad of Henry; and Lincoln. Loved brother of Emil (Dec), Greta (Dec), George (Dec), Dennis (England), and June (Hawera). Messages may be sent to the Wright family C/- Hardings PO Box 605 Hawera 4640. A Requiem Mass will be held for Bob at St Joseph's Catholic Church, Victoria Street Hawera on Friday 13th January 2023, commencing at 11.00am. Followed by a private committal.

So sorry to learn of Bob's passing.
Robin and I had great admiration for Bob and Helma, the many time's of making when the sun shined.
We were so pleased we got to visit him at trinity and chatted of yesteryear farming.
Bob was a gentleman right to the end, he always welcomed you, he was a delightful person to chat to and we have nice memories of both Bob and Helma.
